Two if by Sea

"Two if by Sea" is scraping the bottom of the baggie, but what are ya gonna do? Panic is setting in, I should have paced myself.

It should surprise no one that I found this movie annoying.  I remember now what I didn't like about this art caper flick, besides the plot. Sandra Bullock I can sometimes tolerate, and I like Denis Leary as a stand-up comic, but I DON'T like him as a goofy dumb-ass. Fans of Denis will probably enjoy this movie more than I did, but fans of SD might not like seeing the beat-down he gets from Sandra.

Stephen plays Evan, the rich British neighbor who is instantly smitten with Sandra (I don't remember her name, and saw it just last night...for the second time).

His role here is minor and rather undemanding of one with his talent, so I'd recommend it only if you're desperate like me.

Funniest (unintended) lines -

Stephen: "You're the sexiest woman I've ever seen."
Sandra: "You need to get out more!"

and

Stephen: "Do you know what your problem is? I get many girls who want to fuck their way into this, but I liked you, a little. But you don't know what you want. So you're stuck with your deadbeat, moron boyfriend."

Sandra: "Excuse me?"
Stephen: "Your boyfriend, what's his name again?"

My thoughts exactly.
